I’m becoming quite notorious for being ill and getting admitted to hospitals. Not something I’m particularly proud of, I must say, but an achievement nonetheless.
They always say how you spend the first hours of a new year is a good indicator of the year to come. So what better way to ring in 2017 than standing in one of the greatest cities in the world surrounded by people laughing and singing?
They’re springing up all over the place; indoor trampoline parks are all the rage amongst children and fitness fanatics alike. As an early birthday activity, I was taken to Gravity Force Trampoline Park and it was flipping amazing!
To say this journey hasn’t come with its fair share of highs and lows would be a lie, but I have thoroughly enjoyed it and for that I am happy for the last 3 months. It’s taken me slightly longer than the allotted 12 weeks due to travelling a lot with work, holidays, and gym equipment ‘incidences’ that we all agreed never to speak of again, didn’t we? Yes. When the words “if that work phone comes out while we’re in Brighton I’m going to take it off you & throw it in the sea!” are said to you before a weekend away, you’ve got to question how much you’re working.
6 weeks done and dusted already! Time flies when you’re having 4 weekly funerals for your fat. 24 HIIT sessions done, 24 more to go.
Love it or loathe it, running is a great form of exercise; it’s free, can be done anywhere, and burns more calories than most mainstream exercises. So long as you as you have no existing joint problems (sorry Debbie with the dodgy knees, you’ll have to sit out on this one) running can be both therapeutic and addictive.
AUGUST?! I’m sure it was only February like yesterday? We’ll be celebrating Christamas (my birthday and Christmas) in a little over 4 months, and yet I’m still thinking I ought to plan my summer holiday.
